Discharging wastewater other than domestic wastewater into the public wastewater collection system without the authorisation referred to in article L. 1331-10 or in breach of the requirements of this authorisation is punishable by a fine of 10,000 euros.

The following is punishable by six months’ imprisonment and a fine of €7,500: 1° Failing to comply with a formal notice issued pursuant to Article L. 1333-31 ; 2° Failing to communicate, in application of article L. 1333-16 , the information required to update the national file of radioactive sources mentioned in article L. 1333-5.

Obstructing the duties of the agents mentioned in articles L. 1333-29 and L. 1333-30 is punishable by six months’ imprisonment and a fine of €7,500.

Any advertising relating to the use of ionising radiation in human or veterinary medicine, when directed at persons other than doctors, veterinary surgeons or pharmacists, is punishable by a fine of €3,750.

The provisions of articles L. 173-5 to L. 173-12 of the Environment Code apply to offences under this chapter. Corporate entities declared criminally liable, under the conditions provided for by’article 121-2 of the Criminal Code, for the offences defined in article L. 1337-8 are liable, in addition to a fine in accordance with article 131-38 of the French Penal Code, to a ban on the sale of the product advertised…

Failure to comply with the prohibition measures mentioned in article L. 1335-4 is punishable by a fine of 15,000 euros.
