Section 2: Comité régional de l'emploi, de la formation et de l'orientation professionnelles (Regional Committee for Employment, Vocational Training and Guidance)

The departmental authorities within the region’s jurisdiction are involved in the committee’s discussions and work in the area of professional integration, in accordance with the procedures set out in its rules of procedure.

For each representative, an alternate is appointed under the same conditions as the full member. Alternates may attend meetings of the Regional Employment, Training and Vocational Guidance Committee with the full members. They may only deliberate in the absence of the full members. The members of the Regional Employment, Training and Vocational Guidance Committee are appointed for a term of three years. Any vacancy or loss of the capacity in respect of which they have been appointed gives rise to a replacement for the remainder of the term of office.

Before appointing the members of the Committee in application of article R. 6123-3-3, the Regional Prefect shall consult the President of the Regional Council on the appointment, under 5° of this article, of up to three representatives of operators not mentioned therein.
