The sports resources, expertise and performance centres are headed by a Director. The Director and his/her deputies are appointed by order of the Minister for Sport. The appointment of the Director is submitted to the President of the region concerned for prior approval. The Director represents the State within the establishment. In order to carry out their missions, the sports resource, expertise and performance centres have at their disposal the equipment, staff and credits allocated to them by the State and the region. They may use resources from the sale of goods, legacies, remuneration for services, registration fees, accommodation, catering and various subsidies, as well as any other revenue authorised by the laws and regulations.
