Article D613-2 of the French Consumer Code

The collegiate body that appoints mediators covered by the provisions of article L. 613-2 is made up equally of at least two representatives of approved consumer associations and at least two representatives of the trader. The approved consumer associations that participate in the appointment of these mediators may not be members of the Commission d’évaluation et de contrôle de la médiation de la consommation.
