Section 2: National Commission for Research Involving the Human Person

The term of office of the members of the Commission, including the Chairman, is three years, renewable once.

In the event of a vacancy occurring during the term of office, a replacement shall be appointed under the same conditions as the appointment for the remainder of the term of office.

If a member has three consecutive unexcused absences from committee meetings, that member is deemed to have resigned.
