Infringements of the provisions applicable to the classification and pricing of hotels are recorded and prosecuted under the conditions set out in articles L. 450-1 to L. 450-3 of the French Commercial Code.
Infringements of the provisions applicable to hotel classification and prices are punishable by a fine of 15,000 euros. Articles L. 490-1 to L. 490-4 of the French Commercial Code apply.
Articles 1952 to 1954 of the Civil Code lay down the rules governing the theft of objects from hotels or hostels.
