Article 411-92 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The aid is awarded in the form of a grant.
When aid is awarded jointly to a production company and a director, a fraction equal to at least 30% of the amount is paid to the director, without prejudice to the share that may be awarded to him by the production company under the terms of the agreements between them. In the event of co-production, the amount of aid intended for the production companies is shared in accordance with the terms of the agreements between the parties concerned. In the case of a co-production, the amount of aid allocated to the production companies is shared in accordance with the terms of the agreements between the parties concerned.
When aid is allocated to the director alone, the full amount is paid to him/her. In the case of co-direction, the amount of aid is shared according to the distribution agreed between the directors.

L’aide est attribuée sous forme de subvention.
Lorsqu’une aide est attribuée conjointement à une entreprise de production et à un réalisateur, une fraction égale à 30 % minimum de son montant est versée au réalisateur, sans préjudice de la part pouvant lui être reconnue par l’entreprise de production aux termes des conventions intervenues entre eux. En cas de coproduction, le montant de l’aide destinée aux entreprises de production est partagé conformément aux termes des conventions intervenues entre les intéressés.
Lorsqu’une aide est attribuée au seul réalisateur, son montant lui est intégralement versé. En cas de coréalisation, le montant de l’aide est partagé selon la répartition convenue entre les réalisateurs.
