As soon as the decision to recognise the sentencing decision as enforceable in France has become final, the custodial sentence or detention order may be enforced under the conditions laid down in the decision, for the part that remained to be served in the sentencing State.

The enforcement of the sentence is governed by this code.

Dès que la décision de reconnaître la décision de condamnation comme exécutoire en France est devenue définitive, la peine ou la mesure de sûreté privative de liberté peut être ramenée à exécution dans les conditions prévues par la décision, pour la partie qui restait à subir dans l’Etat de condamnation.

L’exécution de la peine est régie par le présent code.
