Article 764-13 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Where the competent authority of the executing State has informed the public prosecutor that it recognises the sentence or the probation decision, the competent authorities of the executing State shall become solely competent to supervise the probation measures or alternative sanctions imposed, as well as for amending the obligations or instructions, revoking the suspension of enforcement of the sentence or conditional release and taking any decision in the event of the commission of a new offence or of non-compliance with an alternative sanction or a probation measure.

Lorsque l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’exécution a informé le ministère public qu’elle reconnaît la condamnation ou la décision de probation, les autorités compétentes de l’Etat d’exécution deviennent seules compétentes pour assurer le suivi des mesures de probation ou des peines de substitution imposées, ainsi que pour modifier les obligations ou les injonctions, prononcer la révocation du sursis à l’exécution de la condamnation ou de la libération conditionnelle et prendre toute décision en cas de commission d’une nouvelle infraction ou de non-respect d’une peine de substitution ou d’une mesure de probation.
