Article 919-82 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

For each cinema, the amount of the direct allocation is determined by applying the percentage corresponding to the market share of this cinema to the amount of credits allocated to direct allocations.
The amount of the direct allocation may not exceed 70% of the mathematical opposite of the gross operating surplus at fixed costs mentioned in article 2 of the aforementioned decree no. 2021-310 of 24 March 2021.

Pour chaque établissement de spectacles cinématographiques, le montant de l’allocation directe est déterminé en appliquant le pourcentage correspondant à la part de marché de cet établissement au montant des crédits affectés aux allocations directes.
Le montant de l’allocation directe ne peut excéder 70 % de l’opposé mathématique de l’excédent brut d’exploitation coûts fixes mentionné à l’article 2 du décret n° 2021-310 du 24 mars 2021 précité.
