Article A212-178 of the French Sports Code

Any person exercising or wishing to exercise the functions covered by article L. 212-1 must be able to present to the department responsible for examining the declaration file a medical certificate stating that there is no contraindication to the practice and supervision of these physical or sporting activities, dating from less than one year before the day on which the file is submitted. They must be able to present to the administrative authority the original of the medical certificate presented at the time of declaration during the period of validity of their professional card.

Toute personne exerçant ou désirant exercer les fonctions relevant de l’article L. 212-1 doit être en mesure de présenter au service chargé de l’instruction du dossier de déclaration un certificat médical de non contre-indication à la pratique et à l’encadrement de ces activités physiques ou sportives datant de moins d’un an au jour du dépôt du dossier. Elle doit être en mesure de présenter à l’autorité administrative l’original du certificat médical présenté lors de la déclaration pendant la durée de validité de sa carte professionnelle.
