If the Prefect deems that there is no substantial difference, or if a substantial difference has been identified and the applicant has passed the aptitude test, the Prefect will issue the applicant with a certificate of freedom of establishment and a sports instructor’s professional card or a receipt for a declaration of provision of services, which will mention the following conditions of practice: Leading and accompanying people on mountain excursions or ascents in rock, snow, ice and mixed terrain. Leading and accompanying people on ski touring, ski mountaineering and off-piste skiing excursions. Teaching mountaineering, climbing, ski touring, ski mountaineering and off-piste skiing techniques. Training for competitions in the above disciplines. Authorisation to practise for a period of six years, renewed on completion of a refresher course.

Dans le cas où le préfet estime qu’il n’existe pas de différence substantielle ou lorsqu’une différence substantielle a été identifiée et que le déclarant a satisfait à l’épreuve d’aptitude, le préfet délivre au déclarant une attestation de libre établissement et une carte professionnelle d’éducateur sportif ou un récépissé de déclaration de prestation de services qui portent mention des conditions d’exercice suivantes : Conduite et accompagnement de personnes dans des excursions ou des ascensions de montagne en rocher, neige, glace et terrain mixte. Conduite et accompagnement de personnes dans des excursions de ski de randonnée, ski alpinisme et en ski hors-piste. Enseignement des techniques d’alpinisme, d’escalade et de ski de randonnée, ski alpinisme et ski hors-piste. Entraînement aux pratiques de compétition dans les disciplines précitées. Autorisation d’exercer pour une durée de six ans renouvelée à l’issue d’un stage de recyclage.
