Article D125-2-2 of the French Insurance Code

The Commission reports to the Minister for Civil Protection, who is responsible for its operating costs.

The General Secretariat is provided by the Directorate General for Civil Protection and Crisis Management. In particular, it is responsible for communicating the opinion provided for in I of article L. 125-1-1 to Parliament and to the Orientation Council for the Prevention of Major Natural Risks mentioned in article L. 565-3 of the Environment Code.

Article D125-2-2

La commission est placée auprès du ministre en charge de la sécurité civile qui en assume les frais de fonctionnement.

Le secrétariat général est assuré par la direction générale de la sécurité civile et de la gestion de crise. Il est chargé notamment de communiquer l’avis prévu au I de l’article L. 125-1-1 au Parlement et au conseil d’orientation pour la prévention des risques naturels majeurs mentionné à l’article L. 565-3 du code de l’environnement.
