Article D1711-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The functions of rapporteur of the local committee are carried out by the secretary general of the prefecture or his deputy.

The secretariat of the local committee is provided by the services of the prefecture.

The chairman may invite to attend a meeting, in an advisory capacity, any person whose presence he considers useful.

The local committee may request any document from the prefect of the Department of Mayotte, the president of the General Council or the mayors.

The local committee adopts rules of procedure.

Les fonctions de rapporteur du comité local sont assurées par le secrétaire général de la préfecture ou son suppléant.

Le secrétariat du comité local est assuré par les services de la préfecture.

Le président peut inviter à participer à une séance, à titre consultatif, toute personne dont il juge la présence utile.

Le comité local peut demander communication de tout document au préfet du Département de Mayotte, au président du conseil général ou aux maires.

Le comité local adopte un règlement intérieur.
