Article D2223-55-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In addition to the theoretical training defined in Article D. 2223-55-3, practical training is carried out within a company, a public authority or an association authorised in accordance with article L. 2223-23. For each candidate, this training is the subject of an agreement concluded between the training body and the company, public authority or association.

The duration of the practical training is set at 140 hours.

The training referred to in the first paragraph is intended to verify the candidate’s operational capacity by means of a professional situation and the validation of a minimum number of practical cases listed by the order referred to in article D. 2223-55-4. At the end of the practical training period, the director or manager of the company, régie or association carries out a written assessment of the candidate.

The result of this assessment is sent to the training body responsible for the theoretical training.

Outre les enseignements théoriques définis à l’article D. 2223-55-3, une formation pratique est réalisée au sein d’une entreprise, d’une régie ou d’une association habilitée conformément à l’article L. 2223-23. Pour chaque candidat, cette formation fait l’objet d’une convention conclue entre l’organisme de formation et l’entreprise, la régie ou l’association.

La durée de la formation pratique est fixée à 140 heures.

La formation mentionnée au premier alinéa vise à vérifier la capacité opérationnelle du candidat par une mise en situation professionnelle et par la validation d’un minimum de cas pratiques listés par l’arrêté mentionné à l’article D. 2223-55-4. Au terme de la période de formation pratique, le dirigeant ou le gestionnaire de l’entreprise, de la régie ou de l’association procède à une évaluation écrite du candidat.

Le résultat de cette évaluation est transmis à l’organisme de formation chargé de la formation théorique.
