Article D224-7 of the French Sports Code

The person in charge of relations with supporters ensures dialogue between all supporters and supporters’ associations that support the sports association or company.

He/she advises and informs the directors of the sports association or company on any questions or requests concerning supporters or supporters’ associations.

It also liaises with the representatives of the other sports associations or companies in the professional league concerned and with the representative of the State in the département and, in Paris, the Prefect of Police, as part of the preparations for sporting events and competitions.

Where necessary, it mediates between supporters, supporters’ associations and the sports association or company in the event of a dispute between them.

La personne référente chargée des relations avec les supporters assure le dialogue entre tous les supporters et les associations de supporters qui soutiennent l’association ou la société sportive.

Elle conseille et informe les dirigeants de l’association ou de la société sportive sur toutes questions ou demandes concernant les supporters ou les associations de supporters.

Elle assure également le dialogue avec les personnes référentes des autres associations ou sociétés sportives de la ligue professionnelle concernée et avec le représentant de l’Etat dans le département et, à Paris, le préfet de police, dans le cadre de la préparation des manifestations et compétitions sportives.

Elle assure, le cas échéant, la médiation entre les supporters, les associations de supporters, l’association ou la société sportive en cas de conflit les opposant.
