Article D594-11 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Victims of offences are entitled to the assistance of an interpreter during their hearing in accordance with the procedures laid down by the provisions of articles D. 594-2, D. 594-4 and D. 594-5.

If, exceptionally, the procedural document has been the subject of an oral translation or an oral summary, in accordance with the provisions of the third paragraph of Article 10-3, mention of this shall be made in the minutes or in the notes of the hearings.

Les victimes d’infractions ont droit à l’assistance d’un interprète lors de leur audition selon les modalités fixées par les dispositions des articles D. 594-2, D. 594-4 et D. 594-5.


Si, à titre exceptionnel, la pièce de procédure a fait l’objet d’une traduction orale ou d’un résumé oral, conformément aux dispositions du troisième alinéa de l’article 10-3, il en est fait mention par procès-verbal ou dans les notes d’audiences.
