Article D8222-4 of the French Labour Code

A private individual who enters into a contract for his or her own personal use, that of his or her spouse, partner in a civil solidarity pact, cohabitee or of his or her ascendants or descendants, shall be deemed to have carried out the checks required by article L. 8222-1 if, when the contract is entered into and every six months until the end of its performance, he or she receives from his or her co-contractor one of the documents listed in article D. 8222-5.

Le particulier qui contracte pour son usage personnel, celui de son conjoint, partenaire lié par un pacte civil de solidarité, concubin ou de ses ascendants ou descendants, est considéré comme ayant procédé aux vérifications imposées par l’article L. 8222-1 s’il se fait remettre, par son cocontractant, lors de la conclusion du contrat et tous les six mois jusqu’à la fin de son exécution, l’un des documents énumérés à l’article D. 8222-5.
