Article L121-1 of the French Sports Code

Sports associations are formed in accordance with the provisions of the law of 1st July 1901 relating to the contract of association or, when their registered office is in the departments of Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin and Moselle, in accordance with the local civil code.

Les associations sportives sont constituées conformément aux dispositions de la loi du 1er juillet 1901 relative au contrat d’association ou, lorsqu’elles ont leur siège dans les départements du Bas-Rhin, du Haut-Rhin et de la Moselle, conformément au code civil local.
