Article L121-3 of the French Sports Code

Subject to the approval referred to in article L. 121-4, sports associations that promote and organise physical and sports activities for disabled people may receive assistance from the public authorities, particularly in terms of sports practice, access to sports facilities, organisation of competitions, training of sports instructors and adaptation of transport.

Sports associations, particularly those for schools, universities and companies, are open to disabled people.

Les associations sportives qui promeuvent et organisent des activités physiques et sportives à l’intention des personnes handicapées peuvent bénéficier, sous réserve de l’agrément mentionné à l’article L. 121-4, d’aides des pouvoirs publics, notamment en matière de pratique sportive, d’accès aux équipements sportifs, d’organisation des compétitions, de formation des éducateurs sportifs et d’adaptation des transports.

Les associations sportives, notamment scolaires, universitaires et d’entreprise sont ouvertes aux personnes handicapées.
