Article L132-1 of the French Tourism Code

In each department, the departmental council draws up, where necessary, a departmental tourism development plan. This plan takes into account the guidelines defined by the regional tourism and leisure development plan.

In the territory of the European Collectivity of Alsace, the body mentioned in article L. 132-2 is responsible for leading and coordinating the actions of the local authorities and other stakeholders concerned, in accordance with the regional tourism and leisure development plan.

Dans chaque département, le conseil départemental établit, en tant que de besoin, un schéma d’aménagement touristique départemental. Ce schéma prend en compte les orientations définies par le schéma régional de développement du tourisme et des loisirs.

Sur le territoire de la Collectivité européenne d’Alsace, l’organisme mentionné à l’article L. 132-2 est chargé d’animer et de coordonner l’action des collectivités territoriales et des autres acteurs concernés, en cohérence avec le schéma régional de développement du tourisme et des loisirs.
