Article L212-4 of the French Sports Code

The provision of equipment for participants or, except in the case of activities taking place in a specific environment, the facilitation of the practice of the activity within a classified establishment subject to tourism regulations cannot be assimilated to the functions designated in the first paragraph of article L. 212-1.

Article L212-4

La mise à disposition de matériel destiné aux pratiquants ou, hors le cas des activités s’exerçant dans un environnement spécifique, la facilitation de la pratique de l’activité à l’intérieur d’un établissement classé relevant de la réglementation du tourisme ne sauraient être assimilées aux fonctions désignées au premier alinéa de l’article L. 212-1.
