For contracts relating to financial services involving an initial service agreement followed by successive transactions or a series of separate transactions of the same nature staggered over time, the provisions of this chapter apply only to the first service agreement. For tacitly renewable contracts, the provisions of this chapter apply only to the initial contract.
In the absence of an initial service agreement, where successive or separate operations of the same nature, spread over time, are performed between the same parties, the provisions of article L. 222-5 only apply to the first transaction. However, when no transaction of the same nature is carried out for more than one year, these provisions apply to the following transaction, which is considered to be a first transaction.
