Article L224-90 of the French Consumer Code

The offer of meetings with a view to marriage or a stable union, proposed by a professional, shall be the subject of a written contract, drawn up in legible characters, a copy of which shall be given to the professional’s contracting party at the time of its conclusion.
The contract shall mention the name of the professional, his address or that of his registered office, the nature of the services provided, as well as the amount and terms of payment of the price. An indication of the qualities of the person sought by the professional’s co-contractor is annexed to the contract.
These contracts are drawn up for a fixed term, which may not exceed one year; they may not be renewed by tacit agreement. They may be terminated by either party for a legitimate reason.

L’offre de rencontres en vue de la réalisation d’un mariage ou d’une union stable, proposée par un professionnel, fait l’objet d’un contrat écrit, rédigé en caractères lisibles, dont un exemplaire est remis au cocontractant du professionnel au moment de sa conclusion.
Le contrat mentionne le nom du professionnel, son adresse ou celle de son siège social, la nature des prestations fournies, ainsi que le montant et les modalités de paiement du prix. Est annexée au contrat l’indication des qualités de la personne recherchée par le cocontractant du professionnel.
Ces contrats sont établis pour une durée déterminée, qui ne peut être supérieure à un an ; ils ne peuvent être renouvelés par tacite reconduction. Ils prévoient une faculté de résiliation pour motif légitime au profit des deux parties.
