I.- Registration for a sporting competition authorised by a delegated federation or organised by an approved federation is, subject to II and III of this article, subject to presentation of a licence allowing participation in competitions organised by a sports federation mentioned in article L. 231-2 in the discipline concerned.
II.- For adults who do not hold a licence, registration may be subject to presentation of a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to practising the discipline concerned.For adults who do not hold a licence, registration may be subject to presentation of a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to practising the discipline concerned.
III. -Following the simple opinion of a collegiate body competent in medicine, the federations mentioned in article L. 131-8 lay down the following in their federal regulations:
1° The conditions under which a medical certificate may be required;
2° The nature, frequency and content of the medical examinations required to obtain this certificate, depending on the type of participant and sport;
3° The list of licences issued by other approved or delegated federations allowing participation in the sporting competitions which they organise or authorise or which are subject to authorisation for persons of legal age.
IV.By way of derogation from II and III of this article, when a sporting competition organised or authorised by an approved sports federation or subject to authorisation for persons of full age takes place, for the part on French territory, on the territory of one or more border departments, the participants are subject to the regulations of their place of residence with regard to registration conditions.
V.-For minors without a licence, without prejudice to article L. 231-2-3, registration is subject to the completion of a questionnaire relating to the state of health of the minor athlete, completed jointly by the minor and the persons exercising parental authority.
When a response to the health questionnaire leads to a medical examination, registration for a sporting competition requires the presentation of a medical certificate attesting to the absence of contraindication to the practice of sport.
VI – A decree will specify the procedures for implementing this article.
