Article L3232-4 of the French Labour Code

The minimum monthly remuneration is reduced accordingly when :

1° During the month in question, the employee has worked fewer hours than the legal weekly working time in the event of suspension of the employment contract;

2° The employment contract began or ended during the month in question.

La rémunération mensuelle minimale est réduite à due concurrence lorsque :

1° Au cours du mois considéré, le salarié a accompli un nombre d’heures inférieur à celui qui correspond à la durée légale hebdomadaire en cas de suspension du contrat de travail ;

2° Le contrat de travail a débuté ou s’est terminé au cours du mois considéré.
