Article L342-29 of the French Tourism Code

In conjunction with the national association mentioned in the second paragraph of article L. 342-27, the purpose of the departmental, interdepartmental or regional association created in application of the first paragraph of the same article L. 342-27 is to contribute, within the territory of the departments concerned, to all actions likely to facilitate the practice of cross-country skiing and non-motorised snow sports other than downhill skiing, and in particular the development of facilities, the coordination of promotional actions and the harmonisation of the level of fees.

The purpose of the national association mentioned in the second paragraph of the aforementioned Article L. 342-27 is to ensure the promotion and development of cross-country skiing and non-motorised snow sports other than downhill skiing and the facilities required for their use, as well as the organisation of training for professionals at Nordic sites.

En liaison avec l’association nationale mentionnée au second alinéa de l’article L. 342-27, l’association départementale, interdépartementale ou régionale créée en application du premier alinéa du même article L. 342-27 a pour objet de contribuer sur le territoire des départements concernés à toutes actions propres à faciliter la pratique du ski de fond et des loisirs de neige non motorisés autres que le ski alpin et notamment le développement des équipements, la coordination des actions de promotion et l’harmonisation du montant des redevances.

L’association nationale mentionnée au second alinéa dudit article L. 342-27 a pour objet d’assurer la promotion et le développement de la pratique du ski de fond et des loisirs de neige non motorisés autres que le ski alpin et des équipements nécessaires à leur déploiement ainsi que l’organisation de la formation des professionnels des sites nordiques.
