Article L425-9-3 of the French Sports Code

Legal entities found to be criminally liable, under the conditions set out inarticle 121-2 of the French Criminal Code, for the offences defined in articles L. 425-9 and L. 425-9-1 of this Code shall incur the following penalties:

1° A fine, in accordance with the procedures set out inarticle 131-38 of the French Criminal Code ;

2° For the offences defined in article L. 425-9-1 of this Code:

a) The additional penalties provided for by 2°, 8° and 9° of article 131-39 of the French Criminal Code ;

b) Closure, for a period of up to one year, of the establishments or one or more of the establishments of the company used to commit the offence and belonging to the convicted legal entity.

Article L425-9-3

Les personnes morales reconnues pénalement responsables, dans les conditions prévues à l’article 121-2 du code pénal, des infractions définies aux articles L. 425-9 et L. 425-9-1 du présent code encourent les peines suivantes :

1° L’amende, suivant les modalités prévues à l’article 131-38 du code pénal ;

2° Pour les infractions définies à l’article L. 425-9-1 du présent code :

a) Les peines complémentaires prévues par les 2°, 8° et 9° de l’article 131-39 du code pénal ;

b) La fermeture, pour une durée d’un an au plus, des établissements ou de l’un ou plusieurs des établissements de l’entreprise ayant servi à commettre l’infraction et appartenant à la personne morale condamnée.
