Article L451-5 of the French Consumer Code

The amount of the fines provided for in articles L. 451-1 to L. 451-4 may be increased, in proportion to the benefits derived from the offence, to 10% of average annual turnover, calculated on the basis of the last three annual turnover figures known on the date of the offence.

Le montant des peines d’amende prévues aux articles L. 451-1 à L. 451-4 peut être porté, de manière proportionnée aux avantages tirés du délit, à 10 % du chiffre d’affaires moyen annuel, calculé sur les trois derniers chiffres d’affaires annuels connus à la date des faits.
