In order to encourage employees to adapt to changes in employment within the company, particularly those with social characteristics that expose them more particularly to the consequences of economic change, company agreements giving entitlement to State aid, concluded within the framework of a branch agreement or a national, regional or local professional agreement on employment, may provide for the implementation of long-term training initiatives.
These agreements may extend the benefit of these actions to employees whose external redeployment is envisaged by the company, provided that this redeployment is expressly accepted by the employee and takes place under a permanent contract or under the conditions laid down for the employment of employees in the public sector or local authorities.
