Article L5411-6-4 of the French Labour Code

The provisions of this section and of 2° of Article L. 5412-1 may not oblige a jobseeker to accept:

1° A level of pay that is lower than the pay normally paid in the region and for the profession concerned, without prejudice to other legal provisions and contractual stipulations in force, in particular those relating to the minimum growth wage;

2° A part-time job, when the personalised project for access to employment provides that the job or jobs sought are full-time;

3° A job that is not compatible with his professional qualifications and skills.

Les dispositions de la présente section et du 2° de l’article L. 5412-1 ne peuvent obliger un demandeur d’emploi à accepter :


1° Un niveau de salaire inférieur au salaire normalement pratiqué dans la région et pour la profession concernée, sans préjudice des autres dispositions légales et des stipulations conventionnelles en vigueur, notamment celles relatives au salaire minimum de croissance ;


2° Un emploi à temps partiel, lorsque le projet personnalisé d’accès à l’emploi prévoit que le ou les emplois recherchés sont à temps complet ;


3° Un emploi qui ne soit pas compatible avec ses qualifications et ses compétences professionnelles.
