Article L722-11 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The sentence enforcement judge or the sentence enforcement court may decide on the conditional release of a foreign national sentenced to a custodial sentence and who is the subject of a decision mentioned in article L. 700-1, with the exception of its 4°, or of an extradition or surrender measure on the basis of a European arrest warrant under the conditions provided for in article 729-2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Article L722-11

Le juge d’application des peines ou le tribunal de l’application des peines peut décider de la libération conditionnelle de l’étranger condamné à une peine privative de liberté et faisant l’objet d’une décision mentionnée à l’article L. 700-1, à l’exception de son 4°, ou d’une mesure d’extradition ou de remise sur le fondement d’un mandat d’arrêt européen dans les conditions prévues à l’article 729-2 du code de procédure pénale.
