Article R112-42 of the French Sports Code

The Regional Sports Conference deliberates by a simple majority of the members present.

However, when it adopts the territorial sports project or its revision, and when it is consulted in application of article L. 112-14 on the draft territorial agreement for the concerted exercise of competence in sport prior to its adoption as provided for inarticle L. 1111-9-1 of the General Local Authorities Code, a simple majority of the votes of the members present is counted according to the following distribution of votes:

-30% of the voting rights for each of the colleges mentioned in 1°, 2° and 3° of article R. 112-40 ;

-10% of the voting rights for the college mentioned in 4° of article R. 112-40.

In the event of a tie, the Chairman has the casting vote.

Article R112-42

La conférence régionale du sport délibère à la majorité simple des membres présents.

Toutefois, lorsqu’elle adopte le projet sportif territorial ou sa révision, et lorsqu’elle est consultée en application de l’article L. 112-14 sur le projet de convention territoriale d’exercice concerté de la compétence sport avant son adoption prévue à l’article L. 1111-9-1 du code général des collectivités territoriales, la majorité simple des voix des membres présents est décomptée selon la répartition des voix suivante :

-30 % des droits de vote pour chacun des collèges mentionnés aux 1°, 2° et 3° de l’article R. 112-40 ;

-10 % de droits de vote pour le collège mentionné au 4° de l’article R. 112-40.

En cas de partage des voix, celle du président est prépondérante.
