Article R134-7 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The objection provided for in the fifth paragraph of article L. 134-5 is lodged with the collective management organisation mentioned in article L. 134-3 which, within one month of the date on which the objection was notified to it, withdraws the exploitation authorisation issued to the publisher.

The publisher terminates the exploitation of the book as soon as possible and at the latest within two months of the date on which the withdrawal of the exploitation authorisation is notified to it by the body.

Article R134-7

L’opposition prévue au cinquième alinéa de l’article L. 134-5 s’exerce auprès de l’organisme de gestion collective mentionné à l’article L. 134-3 qui, dans le mois qui suit la date à laquelle l’opposition lui a été notifiée, retire l’autorisation d’exploitation délivrée à l’éditeur.

L’éditeur met fin à l’exploitation du livre dans les meilleurs délais et au plus tard dans les deux mois qui suivent la date à laquelle le retrait de l’autorisation d’exploitation lui est notifié par l’organisme.
