Article R211-17 of the French Tourism Code

As soon as it is known, the identity of the operating air carrier is communicated in writing or by electronic means. This information shall be confirmed no later than eight days before the date specified in the contract, or at the time the contract is concluded if this takes place less than eight days before the start of the journey.

However, for contracts concluded by telephone, the passenger will receive a written document confirming this information.

Dès qu’elle est connue, l’identité du transporteur aérien effectif est communiquée par écrit ou par voie électronique. Cette information est confirmée au plus tard huit jours avant la date prévue au contrat ou au moment de la conclusion du contrat si celle-ci intervient moins de huit jours avant le début du voyage.

Toutefois, pour les contrats conclus par téléphone, le voyageur reçoit un document écrit confirmant cette information.
