I. – The duration of the credit of hours for one quarter is equal:
1° To one hundred and forty hours for mayors of communes with at least 10,000 inhabitants and deputy mayors of communes with at least 30,000 inhabitants;
2° To one hundred and twenty-two and a half hours for mayors of communes with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants and deputy mayors of communes with between 10,000 and 29,999 inhabitants;
3° To seventy hours for municipal councillors of communes with at least 100,000 inhabitants and deputy mayors of communes with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants ;
4° At thirty-five hours for municipal councillors of municipalities with 30,000 to 99,999 inhabitants, at twenty-one hours for municipal councillors of municipalities with 10,000 to 29,999 inhabitants and at ten-thirty hours for municipal councillors of municipalities with 3,500 to 9,999 inhabitants;
5° At ten-thirty hours for municipal councillors of municipalities with less than 3,500 inhabitants.
II. – The duration of the time credit of the deputy or municipal councillor who deputizes for the mayor under the conditions laid down by article L. 2122-17 is, for the duration of the substitution, that provided for by I of this article for the mayor of the municipality.
III. – The duration of the time credit of a councillor who has been delegated a function by the mayor is that provided for by I of this article for a deputy mayor of the municipality.
