Article R2223-10 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

In the event of the transfer of a cemetery, the concession holders are entitled to obtain, in the new cemetery, a plot equal in area to the plot that had been granted to them.

In accordance with 14° of article L. 2321-2, the remains that were buried there are transported at the expense of the commune.

En cas de translation d’un cimetière, les concessionnaires sont en droit d’obtenir, dans le nouveau cimetière, un emplacement égal en superficie au terrain qui leur avait été concédé.

Conformément au 14° de l’article L. 2321-2, les restes qui y avaient été inhumés sont transportés aux frais de la commune.
