Article R232-41-2 of the French Sports Code

The purpose of the processing mentioned in article R. 232-41-1 is to :

1° To gather biological information on any athlete within the meaning of Article L. 230-3 who is subject to a doping control;

2° To detect and sanction the use of a prohibited substance or method under the conditions set out in Articles L. 232-21-1 to L. 232-23-3-12;

3° To encourage the implementation of controls relating to the fight against doping;

4° Discourage athletes from using prohibited substances or methods;

5° To protect the health of those concerned.

Article R232-41-2

Le traitement mentionné à l’article R. 232-41-1 a pour finalités de :

1° Rassembler des informations biologiques sur tout sportif au sens de l’article L. 230-3 faisant l’objet d’un contrôle antidopage ;

2° Détecter l’utilisation d’une substance ou d’une méthode interdite et la sanctionner dans les conditions fixées par les articles L. 232-21-1 à L. 232-23-3-12 ;

3° Favoriser la mise en œuvre de contrôles relatifs à la lutte contre le dopage ;

4° Dissuader les sportifs de recourir à des substances ou méthodes interdites ;

5° Préserver la santé des intéressés.
