Article R2333-120-21 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The magistrates of the administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal who are members of the commission are appointed by order of the Vice-President of the Council of State.

The judicial magistrates who are members of the commission are appointed by order of the Keeper of the Seals.

The magistrates other than serving magistrates assigned to the commission are appointed for a renewable period of three years.

Les magistrats des tribunaux administratifs et des cours administratives d’appel membres de la commission sont nommés par arrêté du vice-président du Conseil d’Etat.

Les magistrats judiciaires membres de la commission sont nommés par arrêté du garde des sceaux.

Les magistrats autres que les magistrats en activité affectés à la commission sont nommés pour une période de trois ans, renouvelable.
