Article R2333-120-59 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The judge may impose a fine of up to 2,000 euros on the author of an application that he considers to be improper. This fine shall be recovered, in accordance with the provisions of decree no. 64-1333 of 22 December 1964, by a public accountant designated by order of the minister responsible for the budget.

Le juge peut infliger à l’auteur d’une requête qu’il estime abusive une amende dont le montant ne peut excéder 2 000 euros. Cette amende est recouvrée, conformément aux dispositions du décret n° 64-1333 du 22 décembre 1964, par un comptable public désigné par arrêté du ministre chargé du budget.
