Article R269 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

A article R. 43, after the first paragraph, the following paragraph is inserted:

“If the accused resides on an island that is not served by a regular postal service, he must pay the fine and the fixed procedural fee within sixty days of notification by the administrative or military authority, unless he lodges an objection. “

At the end of the last paragraph, the words “or on the notice” are added. “

A l’article R. 43, après le premier alinéa, il est inséré un alinéa ainsi rédigé :

” Si le prévenu réside dans une île qui n’est pas desservie par un service régulier des postes, il doit acquitter l’amende et le droit fixe de procédure dans un délai de soixante jours, à compter de la notification par l’autorité administrative ou militaire, à moins qu’il ne fasse opposition. ”

A la fin du dernier alinéa, est ajoutée la mention : ” ou sur l’avis. “
