The labour inspector checks whether the remuneration paid to employees over the past calendar year has been correctly distributed over twelve months.
In the event that the remuneration has not been correctly established, taking into account the employment of the persons concerned, and this verification reveals an improper carry-over of certain elements of the remuneration to the end of the year or unjustified inequalities between the monthly remunerations, the necessary adjustments are made in the calculation of the State’s contribution to the payment of supplementary allowances and in the determination of the social security contributions payable by the employer and the employees.
