Article R332-18 of the French Sports Code

The data controller shall inform the data subjects by displaying, sending or delivering a document, or by any other equivalent means, indicating the identity of the data controller, the purpose of the processing, the compulsory nature of the answers, the possible consequences of failure to answer, the recipients of the data, the period of retention and the procedures for exercising the rights of the data subjects.

The right to object provided for in article 38 of the law of 6 January 1978 does not apply to the processing mentioned in article R. 332-14.

The rights of access and rectification provided for in articles 39 and 40 of the law of 6 January 1978 may be exercised directly with the data controller.

Article R332-18

Le responsable du traitement procède à l’information des personnes concernées par affichage, envoi ou remise d’un document, ou par tout autre moyen équivalent, en indiquant l’identité du responsable de traitement, la finalité poursuivie par le traitement, le caractère obligatoire des réponses, les conséquences éventuelles d’un défaut de réponse, les destinataires des données, la durée de conservation et les modalités d’exercice des droits des personnes concernées.

Le droit d’opposition prévu à l’article 38 de la loi du 6 janvier 1978 ne s’applique pas au traitement mentionné à l’article R. 332-14.

Les droits d’accès et de rectification prévus par les articles 39 et 40 de la loi du 6 janvier 1978 s’exercent directement auprès du responsable de traitement.
