Article R333-8 of the French Sports Code

The organiser of the sporting event or competition must authorise one or more of his agents or representatives with the appropriate technical and legal skills to:

1° Process the data contained in the database referred to in article R. 333-5 ;

2° Transmit to the Autorité Nationale des Jeux and to La Française des Jeux the requests for reconciliation referred to in I and II of Article R. 333-11;

3° Receive in response the information mentioned in Article R. 333-12.

A copy of the authorisation decision is sent by any means to the Autorité Nationale des Jeux and to the company mentioned in 2°, which acknowledge receipt. Any change among the agents mentioned in the first paragraph is notified without delay under the same conditions.

Article R333-8

L’organisateur de la manifestation ou de la compétition sportive habilite, parmi ses agents ou représentants disposant des compétences techniques et juridiques adéquates, une ou plusieurs personnes, afin de :

1° Traiter les données contenues dans le traitement mentionné à l’article R. 333-5 ;

2° Transmettre à l’Autorité nationale des jeux et à la société La Française des jeux les demandes de rapprochement mentionnées aux I et II de l’article R. 333-11 ;

3° Recevoir en réponse les éléments mentionnés à l’article R. 333-12.

Une copie de la décision d’habilitation est notifiée par tous moyens à l’Autorité nationale des jeux et à la société mentionnée au 2°, qui en accusent réception. Tout changement parmi les agents mentionnés au premier alinéa est notifié sans délai dans les mêmes conditions.
