Pursuant to the provisions of IV of article 31 of the aforementioned Act of 6 January 1978, the organiser of a sporting event or competition responsible for the data processing defined in article R. 333-5 must send the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés, prior to its implementation, an undertaking that it complies with the description in articles R. 333-5 and R. 333-6.

The organiser of the sporting event or competition must authorise one or more of his agents or representatives with the appropriate technical and legal skills to: 1° Process the data contained in the database referred to in article R. 333-5 ; 2° Transmit to the Autorité Nationale des Jeux and to La Française des Jeux the requests for reconciliation referred to in I and II of Article R. 333-11; 3°…

The results transmitted by the Autorité nationale des jeux or by La Française des jeux pursuant to article R. 333-12 are kept by the organiser of the sporting event or competition for a period of six years from the date of receipt by the organiser.
