Article R334-13-1 of the French Insurance Code

Where a contract referred to in Article R. 342-1 provides that management expenses are not fixed for a period exceeding five years, and where the insurance undertaking does not assume an investment risk, the minimum required solvency margin is set at an amount equivalent to 25% of the net management expenses relating to these operations for the last financial year.

Lorsqu’un contrat mentionné à l’article R. 342-1 prévoit que les frais de gestion ne sont pas fixés pour une période supérieure à cinq ans, et lorsque l’entreprise d’assurance n’assume pas un risque de placement, l’exigence minimale de marge de solvabilité est fixée à un montant équivalant à 25 % des dépenses de gestion nettes relatives à ces opérations pour le dernier exercice.
