An agreement between the State and French Polynesia shall in particular determine the terms and conditions under which :
1° The services of the State and those of French Polynesia shall implement the measures provided for by the International Health Regulations (2005), and shall cooperate and coordinate in the performance of their respective duties;
2° The organisations authorised to carry out certain tasks or services relating to the general rules of hygiene at points of entry to the territory and to the health inspection of means of transport and travellers, including the involvement of organisations located in French Polynesia or mainland France, are approved in accordance with local regulations, and in particular the procedures for approving these organisations and for renewing, withdrawing or suspending all or part of this approval;
3° The preparation and response to public health emergencies at points of entry are organised;
4° The criteria for defining the territory’s points of entry are determined;
5° The State is informed by French Polynesia of the conditions under which vaccination centres involved in the fight against the international spread of diseases are designated and operate;
6° The State shall be informed by French Polynesia of the conditions under which entomological surveillance programmes and programmes to control vectors and their reservoirs are implemented within the facilities of the points of entry when it appears necessary to make special provisions for the control of mosquitoes;
7° The State is informed by French Polynesia of the conditions under which health inspection certificates or exemption certificates for health inspections of ships are issued in accordance with the model certificate given in Annex 3 of the International Health Regulations, their period of validity, their retention period, any extensions, their validity throughout the territory of the Republic and the cost of issuing these certificates applicable in French Polynesia, in accordance with the provisions of Article 40 of the International Health Regulations (2005);
8° The national focal point and the local focal point coordinate their actions in terms of information on the serious, unexpected or unusual health events mentioned in Article R. 3115-68.
