Article R412-9 of the French Tourism Code

Any natural or legal person who organises “organised adapted holidays” for disabled people of full age, either by organising them themselves or having them organised by an intermediary, must apply for approval from the Prefect of the region where it is based or where its registered office is located, by any means that can be relied on to provide a definite date, at least four months before the date of the first holiday organised.

Toute personne physique ou morale qui organise, en les réalisant ou en les faisant réaliser par un intermédiaire, des ” vacances adaptées organisées ” pour accueillir des personnes handicapées majeures sollicite par tout moyen permettant de lui conférer date certaine un agrément auprès du préfet de région de son lieu d’implantation ou de son siège social, au plus tard quatre mois avant la date du premier séjour organisé.
