Article R414-1 of the French Consumer Code

The approval referred to in article L. 414-1 is issued by the prefect of the department, to establishments treating food likely to be intended for human or animal consumption by ionisation, which meet the conditions mentioned in this chapter.

Article R414-1

L’agrément mentionné à l’article L. 414-1 est délivré par le préfet du département, aux établissements traitant par ionisation des denrées susceptibles d’être destinées à l’alimentation humaine ou animale, qui répondent aux conditions mentionnées au présent chapitre.
