Article R426-21 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

In the event of an extension to the duration of the training period provided for in 2° or 3° of article R. 426-16, an amendment to the training agreement is sent to the prefect using a teleservice, within the meaning of article L. 112-9 of the Code of relations between the public and the administration, or by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt at least fifteen days before the end date of the training period initially planned by the training organisation or host company. If the prefect remains silent for fifteen days, this constitutes a decision to accept.

Article R426-21

En cas de prolongation de la durée du stage prévu aux 2° ou 3° de l’article R. 426-16, un avenant à la convention de stage est adressé au préfet au moyen d’un téléservice, au sens de l’article L. 112-9 du code des relations entre le public et l’administration, ou par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception au moins quinze jours avant la date de fin du stage initialement prévue par l’organisme de formation ou l’entreprise d’accueil. Le silence gardé pendant quinze jours par le préfet vaut décision d’acceptation.
